The Care Support ministry provides spiritual care and support to people who are struggling with grief and life's challenges.

2 Corinthians 1:3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.

This team serves those in need outside of the church by visiting them and caring for them in their time of need.

This team creates an environment where children are consistently exposed to the real love of Jesus.  They intentionally invest in the lives of our children through worship, videos, skits, small groups, greeting, games and more.

This team leads children into a real relationship with Jesus through Bible stories, worship, prayer, hands-on activities, and personal interactions.

This team provides opportunities for our Deaf people with American Sign Language (ASL) to worship together and participate in Life Groups through Zoom meetings. There are many opportunities to watch the video recordings through Facebook.

Inspire hearts to action through by bringing your gifts in graphic design, videography and photography as we tell stories of God’s love and faithfulness in this house.

Members of this team use their gifts of encouragement and teach families to develop godly financial stewardship.

This team receives non-perishable food donations from the congregation and prepares bags of items for anyone who has a need. Once a month distribution is provided to the congregation and community.

This ministry serves to triage basic medical attention to our guests in the event of an accident or emergency, as well as providing education and other wellness activities.

This team provides opportunities for our Spanish speaking community to worship together and participate in Life Groups. There are many opportunities to serve for Spanish speakers. 

Meet on Saturdays and prepare food for a homeless shelter in Washington, D.C. and preaching the gospel.

Living Word International South Asian Heritage Ministry focuses on South Asians, but invites all people to join in ethnic praise, worship and sharing of the Word. A full worship service is held every 4th Saturday, followed by a fellowship dinner.

We are looking for married couples who have a passion to encourage and edify married saints to live a married life that brings personal happiness and glory to God.

M&M is our LW introduction and membership class and the team greets guests, provides materials, present and facilitate discussions during the class, take care of the hospitality needs and do data entry. You can serve in one or more of these areas as your schedule and giftings allow.

The Prophetic Team is now available on Zoom the second and fourth Sundays at 5:00 pm to hear God with you for prophetic words to encourage and build up the Body of Christ.  Please contact us for individual ministry, and we’ll get back with you to set up the first available appointment.

This ministry leads various drives to gather supplies for anyone in need: Food Bank, Turkey Drive, Clothing drives, Christmas/School Supplies; and then go and give them to most needy in our community.

This team serves children with special needs, providing intentional one-on-one inclusion, ministry and development.

This team meets on Saturdays for training and does evangelistic outreach on the streets.

National conferences, LW conferences and events are creatively planned and energetically hosted by this team who places priority on valuing people and serving with excellence.

This team provides Spanish translation at our services.  Other languages are considered depending on the demand.

These men and women prepare people for a positive worship experience by welcoming and assisting them to a seat, helping those with special needs, and maintaining a distraction-free environment.
