We remember and honor the lives of those in our church family who have recently transitioned. This page shares information about upcoming funeral and memorial services and offers a space for us to celebrate and cherish all who have been part of our church life. Our hearts and prayers are with everyone who is grieving their loss.

On Thursday, March 19, 2026, our beloved sister in Christ, Shadebomi Doyinsola  Akinola, transitioned to be with our King!

We thank God for her life, her faith, and her unwavering love. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” – 2 Timothy 4:7

Shade’s Service of Songs will be held at Living Word on Wednesday, April 15, 6:00–8:30 pm, in the Worship Center.

The Viewing (10:00–11:00 am) and Funeral Service (11:00 am–1:00 pm) will also be held in the Living Word Worship Center on Thursday, April 16.

We celebrate a life well lived and a race well finished. May her soul rest in perfect peace.
